Yeti

Yetis, also known as Sasquatches, are large hairy ape like creatures. They are normally found in forests and snowy mountains. They are renowned for their strength and expert survival skills in their natural habitats. Despite their physical appearance, yetis are smarter than they look and are generally peaceful. In fact, yetis are very social beings that are often seen mingling with others races such as dwarves. Though this means that yetis aren't savage brutes, it doesn't mean that one should go about messing around with them. It is generally considered to be bad luck by most races to be on bad terms with a yeti and with good reason.

While yetis look like humanoid gorillas or any other similar ape like creature, yetis are actually more related to humans. In fact yetis are actually distant cousins of humans. According to old records and fossils, yetis are a species of humans which branched off from one of humanity's earliest ancestors and evolved into a separate race. Because of this, yetis are often considered part of human race by some despite the fact that yetis are a separate species.
